'Dallas to Disney - Winter 2007-2008' -- The full trip report of BRWombat and family on our 7-day combination Walt Disney World vacation and Disney Wonder cruise!

Our Cast
> Me, Brad, a 43-year-old Dallas-area attorney, married father of two wonderful boys. I first visited a Disney park – Disneyland, to be precise – in 1982, and this is my fifth visit to Walt Disney World.
> My wife Becky, teacher, homemaker, and independent businesswoman. She doesn’t get into all of the Disney planning like I do, but she loves being there! She visited Disney World once with her family in the 1980’s, for our honeymoon in 1990, and also in 2003 and 2005.
> Older son Brandon, a 13-year-old seventh-grader. Brandon is a creative guy with a sharp mind, and he’d go to work for Disney right now if we (and they) would let him! Brandon loves planning out our trips with me.
> Younger son Benjamin, a bright, funny 10-year-old fifth grader. Benjamin doesn’t get into the behind-the-scenes stuff like Brandon and I do, but he is definitely happy to be returning to see the Mouse – although our different travel month means he can’t tell his friends that we are going for his birthday!
> Bob & Linda, Becky’s parents, my wonderful in-laws and the boys’ grandparents, who have traveled extensively and who love Disney! Bob is a former Air Force jet pilot and retired educator, while Linda is a church organist and full-time grandma to Brandon, Benjamin, and four other grandsons.
I have too many pictures and not enough narrative to go along with them. What say I just show the pictures from The Golden Mickeys, eh?
Opening Number
Snow White and the Seven "Dwarves": Dopey plus six kids from the audience!
Tarzan
Mulan
Stitch as Elvis -- except he never holds still enough for a good, no-flash picture!
Ursula and her audience-menacing tentacles.
Cruella dances to her theme song.
The Toy Story number. I love the back-projected "wallpaper," where the clouds are actually drifting by!
Blue! Pink! Blue! Pink!
Pocahontas with John Smith, who has looked kind of wimpy to me both times we've seen this show.
The Lion King segments in both this and in tomorrow's Disney Dreams are always amazing -- lots of revival-style, foot stomping energy.
Ensign Benson overcomes her stage fright, inspired by Walt Disney and his perseverance through his life's setbacks.
The big finish, with Mickey, Minnie, Rona, Ensign Benson, fireworks, and lots of characters!
